Ground Turkey Fry (Dry Curry)

Turkey is not our favorite birds to eat. I hardly cook it at home and nor do we order when we eat out. We find the bird tasteless and smelly. Because the bird is lean, I use to cook it once or twice a year at the most. Lately, it has become a regular at home and the change in heart towards this bird is due the fact that it is very lean.  Whenever I cook turkey I spice it up a lot to make it more flavorful.  In the past, I use to make turkey patties (I used ground chicken but can substitute it with ground turkey) and lately, I have been experimenting a lot with this meat. Couple of months ago, I made turkey dumpling soup, tried turkey kofta curry and, recently made curry puffs and canapés. Last month, when our family visited us from India, I made turkey puffs couple of times and everyone loved it. Last week, I made these canapés (also made it once last month when my family was here) which were a perfect mini bite to munch on. The filling used for both the puffs and the canapés is  the same and this filling can be served as a side dish along with the rice. Oh,  last week I also used the same filling to make wraps as well!
