Event Entry and an Award

New post, new picture and an archived recipe for Srivalli’s Microwave Easy Cooking (MEC) Event.  The theme for this month is Chocolate and what better than Chocolate Strawberries, to make my debut into MEC events!  I use my microwave purely for reheating food and to boil milk, for making yogurt.  I don’t use it for cooking and hence, never participated in these events so far.  Hope I will use it more often for cooking and participate more in MEC events.

When I first posted this recipe back in June, I tried piping the chocolate strawberries with white chocolate. When I prepared these strawberries last week, I did not. Also, this time, I used toothpicks to handle the strawberries.  I inserted the toothpick in the center of the strawberry, which made it easy to dip it in the chocolate and also easy to eat holding the toothpick, without making a mess of my hands.  Here is the recipe for Chocolate Strawberries.

Wylde Woman is back!!!  It is visiting my blog again.  This time, Easy Crafts from Simple Indian Food passed on this Wylde Woman Award to me. Thanks you very much for your gesture and considering me for this award. I am delighted to know that you think my blog deserves this award.

The rules of this award are:
1.You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between – it’s up to you. Make sure you link to their site in your post

2. Link back to this blog site to http://tammyvitale.typepad.com/ so Tammy can go visit all these wonderful men and women, and remember the Purpose of the Award: To send love and acknowledgment to men and women, who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy. It’s been a blessing and an inspiration to meet all of you through your wonderful blogs.

I pass this on to all the wonderful fellow bloggers who have something interesting to share with us everyday.
