Hemp Seed Energy Balls

Hemp seed energy balls are healthy, 5 ingredients, no bake, 10 minutes snack and a dessert. These are iron rich, nutritious and guilt free energy bites.

Equipment

  • Food Processor or Indian Mixie
  • Cutting board & knife
  • Plate

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Hemp Seeds
  • ¼ cup Sesame Seeds, roasted
  • ¼ cup Roasted Peanuts or Whole Almond Flour
  • 4 Seedless Medjool Dates chopped, extra 1-2 as per your taste
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cocoa Powder (opt)

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients in a mixie jar or food processor.
  • Run it for 30 seconds to a minute in 10 second intervals. Process it until nuts and dates blend in well and come together to almost form a lump.
  • Transfer to a plate. Mix once shape into 6 equal sized balls.
  • For more appetizing look, roll the balls in coconut flakes or hemp seeds or hemp seeds+cinnamon flavored sugar or cocoa powder or sprinkles. Be creative and make them colorful and appealing to eye.

Notes

  • Dates - are the sweeteners here and use more dates for a sweeter energy balls.  
  • Nuts - Use either almond flour or roasted peanuts.  If you want to experiment, use combination of both.  
  • Nut Butter - Almonds / Peanuts work as nut butter in this recipe.  Feel free to  substitute these nuts with any of your favorite nut or seed butters.
