Pan Fried Tofu  with Spicy Sauce

Protein rich 

Vegan Side Dish

Sauce – Garlic Clove minced – Green Onion chopped – Paprika adjust to taste – Sugar or Honey – Sesame Oil – Soya Sauce – Toasted sesame Seeds Fried Tofu – Firm Tofu – Vegetable Oil 


Step 1 Take all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl, mix and keep aside.

Step 2 Wash tofu, press between palms to remove excess water and cut into slices.

Step 3 Pat dry sliced tofu pieces on paper towels or a kitchen towel to remove excess water.

Step 4 Heat a wide pan with oil.  Gently place all the slices in the pan, without over crowding.

Step 5 Fry for 5-7 minutes on medium - medium low flame until light brown. Gently flip each slice.

Step 6 Fry for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel to drain excess oil from tofu.

Serve with spicy sauce  as an appetizer or  as a side dish.
