An year ago if someone had asked me to a do a month long mega blogging marathon (bm), I would have instantly said no. Here I am today, doing a recap of last month's month long marathon and second one of the year. After the April mega marathon, I was unsure about doing another mega bm but thanks to the motivation and push from from my bm mates, I have successfully completed my second mega bm of the year. With proper planning and organizing, I have realized it is not that bad at all and am looking forward to participating in upcoming mega bms.
If you were following the blog regularly for the past one month, you know I was on a virtual world wide culinary journey cooking from various countries in an alphabetical. During this virtual tour, I took you all to 26 countries in 30 days, taking a break every Sunday. During this journey, we traveled across the globe stopping in five continents; Africa, Asia, Europe, North & South Americas, and New Zealand. New Zealand is one country I could not figure out the continent it is part of. I just assumed it was part of the continent of Australia but was unsure. When I did some search, I found out that it is part of Oceania. I do not remember reading about Oceania in my Social Studies class in school. Oceania is region and not a continent. If someone knows which continent New Zealand is part of, please enlighten this sole.
